Seth’s 4

Seth has been waiting for his birthday for a long time and it finally came! He turned 4 and was very excited to have his special day, he started out the day with opening one of his presents and having McDonald's for breakfast, then he had to wait until later that day for his party. He has really been into Transformers so of course that is what kind of birthday party he wanted so that is what he got. He got lots of decorations, cake and treat bags all in Transformers but we couldn't find a Transformer Piñata so he had to have a firetruck one that didn't go with Transformers but as long as he had a Piñata he didn't care. We had his party later that afternoon with his friends and family we played a couple games with the kids, did the piñata, opened presents and had cake and ice cream. He had a fun day and was excited to play with all of his toys!

We love having Seth in our family he is such a good example to his little brother and takes very good care of all of us. He is very laid back and just hangs out and is such a good boy. He loves learning new things and loves playing with family and his friends. He loves doing anything that involves being outside! We love you and love watching you grow and learn new things everyday you brighten our day every day, we would not be the same without you in our lives!

Happy 4^th birthday

Dax’s First Birthday

It is crazy that a year has passed and we are already celebrating all the boys 1^st birthday. Amy and I decided to do Boden and Dax's birthday party together since they are only 4 days apart. We had lots of fun planning it and it turned out to be a BIG party with lots of family from both of sides! We had the party on Sunday October 16 which was Bodens actually birthday, we served dinner, had cake and ice cream and opened presents. It was a fun night to watch both boys enjoy all the attention and to watch them open presents and the best part of the night was watching them dig into their cakes! Thank you to everyone that came and helped out to make the party successful!

We love having Dax in our family I can't imagine not having him apart of our family. I love to be able to watch him and Seth together and watch Dax try to do everything his big brother does. Seth takes really good care of him and makes sure he is always taken care of. I am excited to watch Dax grow and learn things. He is learning new things everyday some of his milestones for his first year are:

-He is walking everywhere

-He has 4 teeth on bottom and 4 on top

-He loves to eat anything and will eat everything that is insight

-He is a great sleeper. I love being able to just put him in his crib and he goes to sleep

-He waves bye

-He loves to play with Seth

-He says mom, dad and bye

We love you Dax! Thanks for being a happy little boy and making us all laugh at the things you are always doing!

Summer 2011

Summer went by way to fast this year. We have been so busy doing so many fun things that I didn't want to see summer end! We kept busy all summer doing this:

Blackfoots Pride Days, Seth, Suzanne and Brandon went on a plane ride around the Blackfoot area.

Bear Lake

 Las Vegas

 Eastern Idaho State Fair



First Day

Well Seth started Pre-School this year and he is so excited to be able to go to school and be a big boy! He has talked about going to school for the last year like his cousins do so now he is so excited to be able to go to school like them!  Seth is going to Smartie Pants preschool and looks forward to going every Tuesday and Thursday, he loves going with his friends and leaning new things everyday. I hope he stays this excited about school for the next 15years!!

Seth all grown up! It is so sad to see him all grown up it doesn't seem like he should be old enough for school yet.

Dax 8 months

Before Dax was born I had a good goal, I was going to blog and journal each month about his accomplishments  the new things he learns daily and his milestone he reaches each month,  well lets just say so far I have been horrible at my goal! Since he has been born I probably have only done it a couple of times so I am turning over a new leaf and going to do a lot better at it!

8months:

-he pulls himself up on anything and everything that is at all close to him

-is a good sleeper and now sleeps all night in his own bed! Seth never slept in his crib so it is so nice to be able to put Dax in his crib walk away and he will just fall asleep!

-he loves to eat he likes most of the food except for the peas and the chicken dinner

-loves to be outside

-he has his two bottom teeth(the ones he was born with) and now working of three up top, two have come all the way threw and the third one is giving him troubles.

-he rolls only when he wants to, he would rather climb and stand up to things

-he loves to go for walks

-likes to play with Seth’s toys, we can put a basket of Seth’s toys in front of him and he sits and plays with them for awhile but when he put his toys in front of him he is immediately trying to move on and get other things.

-Dax loves to watch Seth and any other kids that are around, he wants to be able to run and play with them so bad!

We love having him apart of our family and to be able to watch Seth and Dax interact with each other is priceless!!

First camping trip of summer 2011

We have been busy doing some fun things so far this summer we have been busy playing outside, at the parks, swimming, going to the Zoo, golfing, and of course camping! Dax has been able to experience his first adventures like camping and going swimming these last couple weeks and he has loved every minute of them and we have loved having him be with us doing the fun things we do as a family.

A couple weeks ago we went camping for the first time this summer and it felt so good to get out of the house and be able to finally enjoy some nice weather. The boys had so much fun being outside, getting dirty, going for hikes, and of course going 4-wheeling! This time was a little more difficult having Dax with us because he is right at that stage where he will not just sit and play with toys, he wants to be down so he can stand and try to climb on things, so we solved that problem and  got a pack-n-play(which probably saved our lives that weekend)and let him play in that so he didn’t have to be on the ground in all the dirt and try to eat everything he saw on the ground, which he wouldn’t have had a problem with that but I did! We went on some 4-wheeling rides and that is always Seth’s favorite part of camping. He especially liked it this time because the guys found some snow and mud, whenever you have snow, mud and 4-wheeling combined Seth is in heaven!! If there is any mud around while 4-wheeling Seth is sure to find it and makes sure he goes right threw it. We took Dax on a long trail ride with us also and he loved it he definitely is going to take after Seth and Brandon and love anything that has wheels! We had so much fun and are already looking forward to more camping adventures this summer.
